Photo Project and the Sound of Music
Photo project bust
I couldn't get a photo of the last word. James gave me "urinate" and for the life of me I just couldn't work myself up to taking one. I was not about to take a picture inside a restroom. I wasn't about to follow some dog either! And what happened to all those stupid stickers you used to see on car's rear windows of Calvin peeing on some sport team's name or logo?
Well, if I can somehow find a suitable photo to put up here of that last word, I'll put it up.
Thank to everyone gave me a word to use. I may repeat this but not as a word a day, that just took up more time (and thought) than I was willing to give. Here was the list.
Hollywood Bowl's Sound of Music Sing-a-long
The Hollywood Bowl's Sound of Music Sing-a-Long is always a blast and this year was no exception. We had 30 people go this year.
Picnic
We had a picnic potluck and as usual for this group, there was a lot of food. So much that we invited the parking security folks to have dinner with us. Thank you everyone for all the food! It was delicious!
It's a sing-a-long! No dancing!
Pre-show
The host was Melissa Peterman from the Reba Show. The special guest was the original Liesl von Trapp, Charmian Carr. There was a parade of costumes made up of people from the audience. A lot of them put a lot of time and thought in their costumes. A few of us cheered for our favorite costumes. We were also given a "Sing a Long" kit bag, it had a few items for the audience participation part of the show.
Oh yeah, there were a "ton of nuns" there!
Charmain Carr aka Liesl von Trapp
Parade of Costumes
"The Hills are Alive With the Sound of Music"
"Play clothes from the curtains"
"A Few of My Favorite Things"
"Tea with Jam and Bread"
"Girls in White Dresses and Blue Satin Ribbons"
And the evening's winner: "How do you hold a moonbeam in your hand"
Enjoying the costumes...
They really like having their picture taken...
See what I mean? (upper left corner).
Camille
Never a normal picture with these two! Hahaha!
Lights from cel phones.
Intermission
This is when you realize that this show is definitely SOLD OUT!
Everyone had a lot of fun! Can't wait for next year. Maybe we'll be nuns too...
Ok, gotta go to sleep. There's supposed to be a picnic tomorrow... uh... today
