Stamina at La Creperie (Part 1)

On August 24th, I took the original Stamina members (Sorry you couldn't make it Steven - next time!) to La Creperie in Long Beach. There have been a lot of changes in the youth group since it first started and from what I hear more on the way. So I wanted to see what STAmiNa thought about the changes... ok also to have some food and fun... and we did have both. I think we had as much food as we had fun... jury is still out on that one.
While we were waiting for our table outside, across the street we saw a number of joggers/runners. Not a big deal, after all it is Long Beach, but they were wearing blue dresses. I realized that it was some type of organized events when I spotted the numbers on the front and back of their "outfits". An Irish bar across the street had mini-marathon where the participants had to wear blue dresses. Some of the male runners decided to flash the people across the street form time to time, while running or at the balcony of the bar across the street. Only in Belmont Shores... ok maybe not.

I've never had dinner at La Creperie (The girls seemed to really like the name of the restaurant, so much so that it became a cheer of sorts much to Natalie's embarassment) and the dinner menu did not disappoint. But of course, it is all about the desserts! We decided on the Dulce de Leche, Marie Antoniette and Martinique. We didn't think we would be able to finish them but we sort of wanted to try a variety.

I guess we did better than we thought...

And of course the way back to the car had its moments too...
