Disneyland in December
Well, it's that time again. My monthly trip to Disneyland with my god-daughter, Amanda. It was a perfect day at the park. The weather was fantastic! It was not very crowded, in fact I could not get over it throughout the day and kept pointing it out to Amanda, who was probably getting tired of me pointing it out, over and over and over....
Anyway here are the pictures...
The weather was beautiful!
Had to go to It's A Small World Holiday.

One of the few times when playing the accordian is cool.
I had no idea that Disneyland had K-9 units. I've nver seen them before.
Finally got a shot of the singing pumpkin headstones.
Did I mention how great the day was?
Where are the crowds? The second level of the steamboat is empty!
This was a very nice show.
Of course, I HAD to take one of these shots.
The parade was already coming down the street and this was about as crowded as it got.
I really enjoy the marching toy soldiers!
Wouldn't be a parade without him.
Goofy Rocks!!!
Am I the only one who finds this picture... disturbing?
After the parade, Amanda and I went up Main Street in search of a truck. There is a truck that is usually at the south/east corner of the top of Main Street that has these incredible corn dogs. I don't know what it is about them. All I know is I wanted one...
Walking around the circle, we found a spot right in front of the castle.
It was just starting to get dark.
After I took the first shot I saw a pigeon on the tower and tried to zoom in on it just to see how well my camera takes pictures from a distance. If you click on the picture, it will take you to the larger image. If you can really zoom in at the window to the right of the bird, do you see someone in that window?
Getting darker
Towards the railway station at the end of Main Street.
Matterhorn at night.
At about 5:30 - 6:00 pm, people started to stake out spots to watch the fireworks show. Amanda and I decided to stay right where we were and keep our "prime" spot for the fireworks show. Unfortunately, by 8:00 pm the announcement started, "Ladies and Gentlemen, due to high winds and unfavorable weather conditions, the Year of a Million Dreams Fireworks Display may be cancelled..." By show time, the announcement cancelling the show was made and the crowd's collective "awwww" sounded, Disney turned on the "snow"
The walk down Main Street.
The Christmas Tree.
