Tahoe Day 2

Not much going on today. Everybody is pretty much trying to get all settled in and unpacked. Unfortunately, there is not a lot of snow. It is very late into the season... in fact it is the last week, they tell us that the resorts will be closing down for the season at the end of this week.
We found out that the Woo's are also up here. We left them a note on their truck last night in case we miss them this morning. Turns out they are early sleepers and late risers, so we didn't miss them at all. They came over around 11:00.
We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Benny and Lori. They should be here by 4:00 pm... we hope.

The Quons finally arrived. There were only 4 of them to our 13, yet they had more luggage in that truck of theirs than we had in the van. Needless to say Lori and I started on our mutual heckling. I'm glad they were able to make it this year, as with all the people I am starting to get to know better at Cornerstone, I really do enjoy their company. Benny and I have this soul brother thing going and Breanna is no longer afraid of me. Brian is starting to open up to me more and well, Lori? We just try to get on each other's nerve on a good natured, brother-sister sort of way.

One of the highlights of each Tahoe trip is the trip to the grocery store. For some reason, it just turns into a sort of Marx Brothers, Three Stooges, Abbott and Costello thing. This year was no different.

We're all pretty much settled in now and getting into our comfort zones...
